We're the Fites. Lamar (Mars), Ashley, Everly and pup Beirut, a family of minimalist nomads living on the road full time in our self-converted Ford Transit, Edison. Our journey began when we took 11 weeks to travel the 48 contiguous United States in the summer of 2016. After that, it became a lifestyle. Consuming only what we need, we spend each day with purpose creating our version of the American Dream.

What's New With Us?

We have a new project on our hands. During our time in Joshua Tree, we came upon the newest addition of our crew, Esther the camper! We had been toying with the idea of a new trailer to use as a lounge/school/guest house. This 1969 Excel camper is a tiny bit bigger than our original ideas for a sweet little pull behind, but she quickly had us in love.
