On our family roadtrip across the 48 contiguous United States, we spent three wonderful days in Oregon. We visited Crater Lake, Bend, Mount Bachelor, the Deschutes River, Benham Falls and Portland. You could really spend a lifetime in this state exploring all it has to offer.
We stayed with my Uncle Bill and Aunt Sue and they treated us to a white water rafting trip and complimentary babysitting, which any parents out there know is a really awesome treat! Lamar's parents were still with us on this leg of the journey, but we dropped them off in Portland and said our goodbyes. It was really nice to get to experience San Francisco to Portland with them. We made so many memories traveling together in our little car! |
